I was asked to present 5-10 health tips about something related to health, as told from the perspective of an Acupuncturist. I decided to do a very personal article about the process of going through an elimination diet during the springtime, which on the Traditional Chinese Medicine seasonal calendar, corresponds to the time that the Liver and Gallbladder organs are more active and hence, more able to respond more effectively to a detox.
I didn't want to just randomly list stuff. That would be boring and way less engaging. So I'm on a limb as I write this with the sole purpose of just bringing the lens to your eye level so you can get a feel for what I am still going through. It feels like the end of this crazy hot summer has been a time filled with opportunities! I was lucky enough to have come across quite a few new job postings between June and now. Out of curiosity in the early part of this summer, I serendipitously followed the white rabbit of employment down the rabbit hole and came up with two new part-time positions in two beautiful parts of our gorgeous city of Toronto.
So, what this means (apart from having a pretty busy schedule come this fall), is that as the start of September, I am essentially making myself available in three different parts of the great T.O (as if anybody couldn't get enough love from me!)
My schedule as of September 2018:
Mondays and Thursdays - I work at Ren's Acupuncture and TCM Clinic at 4231 Sheppard Ave East, Unit C2A in Scarborough.
